the image quality is so bad, it looks like upscaled 480p, I guess it's for the sake of nostalgic atmosphere but I don't like it at all, it's too blurry

@Dizzee Yeah the style does look like it’s been upscaled from a really bad quality but the actual episode itself was rather enjoyable (IMO).

I have to wonder if the blur is due to streaming bitrates... or maybe it is just intentional? It's a shame, though... because the linework itself looks incredible and between that, the color palette, and the character design, it's taking me back to the days of CEL animation, and it'd really be something to be able to see it in all it's glory.

Did you try turning it off then turning it back on again?

It's definitely an intentionally rough-lined art style. You can tell this isn't just from a poor stream because the opening credits are crisp and clear, it's just the actual episode and the animation that looks 'rough and dated'
