The encode was donated, and from what I've seen, the source looks pretty shitty. So my guess is it wasn't.

yeah, there's no raw for the DVD special for part 5, so that's why no one has subbed it. it's apparently a limited item, so it's quite possible it'll never be uploaded.

I didn't know about this, I'll look into getting it. Need to add the BDs of Part V to my Lupin collection anyhow.

apparently they announced a digital english release for part 5 which includes the special, and that'll obviously look way better than a DVD, so no need to waste your money.
