Sorry for the delay. Contains a massive amount of consistency and misc. fixes along with updated lyrics from official lyrics. Kudos to jymmy for giving every insert song a second TLC pass from official lyrics. These batch scripts are our final scripts that will go into our BD releases minus improved typesetting in some cases. First BD volume once Tenebris touches up his typesetting for BDs. Patches [here](https://mega.nz/#!xOZWnKbK!a0wvp2oU_1L6RM_UjzymIFShNNZj_2HSWhGOreK7Xw4). There is no 05v1 to 05v3 patch because 05v2 contained a new encode. EDIT: 06 is EAC3, not AAC. Whoops. One job etc Join Chyuu’s discord: https://discord.gg/gSNEkDs For a smooth playback of this release, we recommend you use mpv. #[email protected] #[email protected] XDCC available in PAS’s IRC.

Cool I might actually watch this sometime
I'll wait for the BDs since the word 'web' makes me feel insecure
Some questions: WEB mean TV version? 1080p is native res of this show? Why AAC audio just on episode 6? EAC3 is the best audio type for this show?
love patching a batch, one episode at a time

@Kamyne Yes, WEB is the TV version. The native res of the show is variable. Scenes are animated in a range of like 844p to 849p but I've seen some outliers of a little less than 844p and a little more than 849p but it also has some 1080p assets used (text overlays like credits, I think the revue signs and iirc the series logo are 1080p) The upscaling by the studio is pretty bad so the best way to handle this would be to descale to each resolution in the range for each scene and compare which one had the lowest error then reupscale to 1080p using a superior resizing algorithm. For the TV version, there was no good source so it wasn't safe to descale so I just left it at 1080p. For blu-rays, I'm using a script a buddy gave me to descale to each resolution in the range, compare the relative error and pick the one with the lowest then reupscale with a superior resizing algorithm, or just leave it how it is if the relative error is too high. Episode 06 is actually EAC3 and I just typoed it as AAC from the v1 we released. Whoops. Amazon had the best audio for the TV airing of the show and it happened to be EAC3. Blu-rays will be in AAC encoded by qAAC. @pippip I didn't know of a way to automate the patching of multiple files without making the patches and .bat myself so I just did it the easy way which was completely automated on my side. The Skirt no Naka batch was made by hand and I never want to do it again because it took hours to make and test.
@PA-Subs I understand. But how do you know about the native res of the shows? Where's this video information? Official site of the show ou any another site? qAAC on the bluray release? Why not FLAC? You prefer qAAC? How do you encode audio to qAAC? How do you make chapters to episodes? Chapters information are on any site? (I'm talking about the xml archieve that putted on mkv files to show chapters on the video) I think make chapters is the same difficult to make translations (subs). Sorry for so many questions, you don't have to reply me if you don't want to. Thanks anyway.

@Kamyne sorry for the late reply. My work week started. Anyway, I have a little bit of time so lemme try answering your questions. >But how do you know about the native res of the shows? Where’s this video information? Official site of the show ou any another site? As far as I'm aware, there are two resources/things fansubbers use to determine the native resolution of an anime. The first is http://anibin.blogspot.com/ . The person (or persons? no idea) that runs it uses fast Fourier transform (FFT, I'm pretty sure this is what it was) to determine the native res of a given show. I have no idea how it works. The other way is by using [this python script](https://github.com/Infiziert90/getnative). I used to know how it worked but I forgot, but whatever. Anyway, none of the methods are completely fool proof and as far as I'm aware can produce false results but also a lot of the time you can just use your eyes and get a ballpark estimate of what resolution the series was animated at. >qAAC on the bluray release? Why not FLAC? You prefer qAAC? How do you encode audio to qAAC? I will not speak much about FLAC and audio because I don't want to get into an argument with audio nerds, but I use AAC encoded by qAAC because it's generally regarded as transparent and produces a lower filesize than FLAC. I just use a .bat made by eXmendic, but all it's doing is extracting the pcm audio from the .m2ts as .wav then encoding that to AAC using the qAAC encoder, or something along those lines. The default AAC encoder is garbage apparently, so if you use AAC, make sure to use the qAAC encoder. >How do you make chapters to episodes? Chapters information are on any site? (I’m talking about the xml archieve that putted on mkv files to show chapters on the video) You can make chapters with mkvtoolnix. I get the timecodes from aegisub. There are probably guides out there to teach you how to do this.
>For blu-rays, I’m using a script a buddy gave me to descale to each resolution in the range, compare the relative error and pick the one with the lowest then reupscale with a superior resizing algorithm This is your brain on encoding memes
Correct me If I'm wrong @PA-Subs, but aren't TV releases of anime aired at 720p hence, making the 1080p version upscales. From what I understand it's the bitrates that are variable when it comes to releases. Regardless, thanks for spending your free time on releasing these!

@LightningSoul, stations usually broadcast at 1440x1080 or something like that. Something something anamorphic (I think?) but I don't know much about TV caps. Fansubbers haven't had to use them since like 2014 or something, or at least way before I started seriously learning how to encode. That's what the transport streams are anyway. I think some channels actually air 1920x1080. What I meant by 844p etc was the resolution it was animated at. The studios usually animate at a lower resolution, usually 720p minimum these days, then upscale to 1080p for the master that they then give to distributors. Very few shows are actually animated at 1080p. If I'm understanding the process correctly, they upscale to 1080p when making the master then they give masters to the distributors, ie TV stations and digital streaming platforms.
