Yeah, hard to unsee that. I'd apologize, but no words would be sufficient.. Eguchi Hisashi wrote it - it's adapted from a somewhat longer manga of his, according to Wikipedia Japan.

yknow, I watched this like a year ago and really enjoyed it. Now I realise that the kaiju bits were definitely worse than I had thought (I missed the joke cause honestly, I didn't think it couldn't be that bad, and thought I had misunderstood the sketch) originally, but my opinion on the rest of it remains the same. Thanks for translating this. I thought this would end up lost without ever getting subs. So yeah, thanks.
