The Media Arts links is right. The regular AIUEO series is 24 eps. http://www2s.biglobe.ne.jp/~koala/video/video_list.html For example if you click おやゆび姫 you'll see the VHS cover and the character design and outfit of Thumbelina is identical to your ripped episode. They do some stories multiple times you have have to make sure the video matches the VHS cover art for its specific version. Here is a MAL page for the Aesop AIUEO series https://myanimelist.net/anime/25717/ The Aesop one is 21 eps so it looks like the MAL page is poorly constructed especially since the More Info lists stories/authors that are definitely not Aesop. So like your ライオンとネズミ ep is episode 09 from the Aesop series.

The rest of the episodes are from the main AIUEO series are are ep 1,5,7,10,12-13,15,20. The last three eps with the girl and yellow creator are the English learning portions shown at the end of each respective story. They have been for some reason collected together in an omnibus format. You can see how it's normally meant to be in ep 15 "かさじぞう".
