The original Blu-ray source is up-scaled from a lower quality with clear lines that partly improve visual experience, but also create heavy ringing effect. Colour banding is also present. PP applied de-ringing and de-banding while maintaining the original image style. Because of the soft image, more use of static scenes and 4:3 aspect ratio, this series is quite bitrate-saving.
