These are raw files downloaded directly from the official Heroes channel. There are no subtitles; no edits were made. The trailer for the Universal Conflict arc is included. Episodes 3, 4, 12, 16 were uploaded at 720p. The others were uploaded at 1080p.
Edit: I think episode 1 might have been upscaled to 1080p. I missed that when I was throwing this together. My VPN just got busted, so I can't check right now, but I'm pretty sure I got it from someone else originally, and the "1080P-reformat" text in the file title makes me think it was upscaled.
Thanks for uploading this!
I tried clicking on the cardass.com link at the top of this page and I see all the videos, but when I click on any of them and press the play button, it says video unavailable. I am even connected to a vpn called protonvpn which has 3 free Japan servers. Does anyone know how to be able to play those videos?
I'd like to be able to download the next episodes when they come out.
I had to experiment with VPNs before I got one that worked. There are different levels of detectability with VPN providers and sometimes one that works for a while will stop working for no reason that is apparent to you. Then you have to find another one. YouTube is pretty aggressive on enforcing region restrictions so it can be tough.
420666969, thank you. I thought I may have been doing something wrong. It's good to know for sure that's all that it is. If you wouldn't mind uploading all the raw videos after each arc, it looks like around 200 people would really appreciate it.
dragontime1980, he mentions in the information at the top of the page that his VPN just got busted. He is trying to find another one. But I suspect one that will work will have to be paid for. I can suggest NordVPN. They have 140+ Japanese VPN servers. I don't know if they will work or if they have any Japan servers that have rotating IP addresses like they do with servers in other countries, but it says they are obfuscated which apperantly means "can bypass internet restrictions such as network firewalls, and are recommended for countries with restricted access".
I haven't tried it, but NordVPN gives a popup with 70% off when you go to the website for the first time on that computer. If you try it out let us know here if it works.
@Switchrescore, I would assume that NordVPN would have heard about that and fixed the issue. But I would suggest to ask NordVPN about that before considering signing up with them.
@theincognito, thanks for the info! ExpressVPN seems to have a good reputation, and on their webpage the first thing it says is:
"ExpressVPN defeats content restrictions and censorship to deliver unlimited access to video, music, social media, and more, from anywhere in the world."
But their pricing is too expensive for me.
@420666969 Episode 1 isn't upscaled, it has the maximum resolution on the YouTube source, the right size.
Most probably it was just renamed after a temp file while downloading.
