Title: Ishuzoku Reviewers (Interspecies Reviewers) - 04 Video Format : x264_AVC_8bit_MKV Resolution : 1920 X 1080 Encoded by: EoE **Audio (AAC)**: Japanese **Subtitles**: English (Judas) **Source**: [Anon (Wakanim)](https://nyaa.iss.one/view/1217228) (1.6 GiB) + Liilth-Raws (840.8 MiB) + Ohys-Raws (427.5 MiB) ### Yes, this is fully uncensored, and also 99% not hardsubbed. Also with our own fansubs, because we do that now. **Note**: It wouldn't be a release from me without at least one issue right? I forgot the wakanim hardsubs for signs halfway through, and also during the ED, but everything else is correct. Probably. After hearing about Funimation dropping the show, and at the time there being no fansubbers stepping up to sub, I though 'fuck it: I'll do them myself.' So I did. This is a 100% Judas release, with our own encode and our own subs. Huge thanks goes out to [Cannongerbil](http://cgtranslations.me/) for the translation, I couldn't have done shit without him. Before the inevitable wave of 'Lol you're a re-encode group, stop trying to sub lol' comes, I'll make it clear that I do **not** intend for this to be perfect. I just thought it might be fun to try this out for a week, and to be honest it has been. I can't say that we'll do it again next week, especially if a good group picks it up (which has been mentioned to me but not confirmed), but maybe. Lastly, if you do have any complaints, come shout at me in the discord; but lets face it, fansubbing isnt an important part of the fansubbing process anyway. ~ EoE For those who want it, our usual HEVC encode is available [here](https://nyaa.iss.one/view/1217403), with no changes other than the codec, and a font attachment. Judas posting something in H264? Say it ain't so! Thanks!
Thanks for your great works but I'll wait for the HEVC version :)
https://files.catbox.moe/zpqzm7.png nani?
they say that in the manga too, freaky
Im just saying it seem that line makes me imaging a bdsm rape dungeon.
well yeah, that's basically what the lillim den is
ok, i basically skimmed through this but overall i'd say this is better than rotten's because of the nicer font / quality and the translation themselves are more or the less the same, the one complaint i do have is subbing "Meidri" as "Meiduri" but honestly i'm not going to get bent out of shape over that thanks for doing this, and hopefully if no one else decides to pick this up it would be very nice if you would continue to make subs for the series

Cheers, well thats what I was hoping for :) As to continuing, maybe, but it's a lot of work and I'm not sure if the TLer wanted to do the whole show anyway. We'll see
rotten guy said it was a one off thing, so if no one else decides to pick it up, well
won't animelab continue to put out official subs? heard they're releasing on sundays
"heard" - got a official source on that? as far as i'm aware they just stole funis subs
> got a official source on that? no sauce unfortunately, this is just from reading other comments under other releases. i have no information on how animelab functions or anything, hell, i havent even heard of em until today
Thanks a lot for continuing this series! ;3
these are not his subs, he fucked up and left Russian text in there https://i.imgur.com/ymnBgqZ.jpg 15:06 in the episode (it says - Grill with hot salamander), i guess he just translated Russian subs and claimed it as his own edit: haha, nevermind there is actually Wakanim dub studio credits at the end, this whole thing is weird to me now, lets see what he has to say about "our own fansubs" and this being ex-russian release.
@Segment who cares lol
@Segment, Wakanim RU's release is dubbed and only has translations for signs, which are shown at the top and need to be caught and dehardsubbed somewhat manually. It is used as the base for this encode because it has the best quality, but it is censodered. For the censored parts, Baha (Lilith) is used and dehardsubbed with the AT-X version (Ohys). This is also mentioned in the release text: > I forgot the wakanim hardsubs for signs halfway through, and also during the ED, but everything else is correct. @Judas, why didn't you use 10bit?

@Segment, you know I'm surprised you managed to read the Russian subs when you obviously couldn't read the description. I don't know any russian, and if I did I wouldn't be dumb enough to translate from them. Since you appear to be able to speak it, I urge you to remux the dub back in and see if the transations line up at all, because unless Cannongerbil is magic, they won't. On the off chance that he is magic, please email Judas™ Support, [email protected] for a full refund, and a free pair of glasses.
What happened to the 120 minutes or less for HEVC?

Issues (ishuz?) happened on my end, episode is up now.
Thanks for subbing and uploading ep 4. I was so confused why nothing was appearing on my usual source.
Why didn't you use 10bit?
\> 8bit in the year 2020 \> Russian hardsubs aren't removed (that are maybe about 3 lines of Vapoursynth code) \> Arial font with bad styling (or have you just forgot muxing the fonts?) \> Ohys-Raws instead of a ts cap Well, I really hope you consider changing that for future releases. At least the first three. For the fourth you probably have no access to caps, so nothing you could actually change I guess.

> 8bit in the year 2020 This was my mistake, I'm just not used to doing x264 encodes and screwed up the command line options. > Russian hardsubs aren’t removed As I said in the description, most of them are, I just fucked up and missed a couple scenes > styling Unfortunately I didn't have a typesetter for this episode, and I did forget to mux in the only font used. > ts cap I do actually have access to the caps, but as had been discussed in the comments for the last releases, the ohys raws comes out better overall, and it's only used to dehardsub so it's not like it really matters anyway. In fact, for a good portion of the hardsubs I didn't use ohys anyway, I just masked out the censorship instead. Yes it isn't perfect, far from it, didn't intend for it to be. I am hoping to correct the first three issues mentioned (omitting the last one because unless i get access to the h264 caps the ts just won't cut it) if we do a release next week, but at the end of the day I'm not that fussed. I've done the best job I can with absolutely no fansubbing experience and as the above comments show, I've done an alright job. Thanks, EoE
Thanks for the answer. If the issues are fixed, then your release is pretty fine for your first try. And yeah, getting access to the h264 AT-X is pretty hard. Main problem with Ohys is probably the "720p" because the show is >720p. But if it's just being used for as little scenes as possible it shouldn't matter that much overall. Also a few things that I would recommend tweaking with your x264 settings: - qcomp 0.7 - aq=3:x.xx (--aq-mode 3) The other settings look fine for me. I also noticed that you forgot to set the subtitle track as default "yes" and the timing could need a bit of improvement. The linking is there, but for some lines you usually should end them when the scene changes. So the line doesn't go a few frames after the change (If you get what I mean). That's missing for a lot of lines.
> fansubbing isnt an important part of the fansubbing process anyway. one of them is supposed to be 'encoding', not sure which.

@eXmendiC Yeah, my forte is definately not in aegisub, but im hoping to get someone else to help time for next week. Plus it seems as though AnimeLab will be continuing, so it may not be necessary going forwards anyway. Thanks for the tips on settings, it seems x264 and x265 are more similar than I had initially expected. @notdedsec No, that was intentional: fansubbing isn't an important part of the fansubbing process, not sure why anyone would put effort into that.
Styling dialogue is usually not a typesetters job, but the project leader's. If you want a decent style, I suggest just nabbing GJM's dialogue style. Works well for most shows.
The girl actually made a reference to To Love Ru's way of getting past censorship with her "To Love Ru Grill". The subs didn't pick up on that, which is a right shame.
