I thought First Inspector was supposed to be a movie or is this just a cut of the film in an episode format? (or was it supposed to be like this?)

Yeah it released in theatres in Japan today as a movie, but for whatever reason the Amazon release was split into three episodes, don't actually know why they made this decision.

Too early to know for sure, but I assume it is just split. A guy on /a/ is saying there's supposedly a post-credit scene that is only in the theatrical version, but there's nothing to support whether that's true or false.

Do you know how this compares to the Erai-raws version? That one has 10000 bitrate as opposed to 7000 here, do you know if that's from cruncyroll or somewhere else?

I think they will do a full movie length once the BD's out. I remember the Kanberi Movie 3 was cut into episodes, yet the BD made it a full length film. Thanks for this!

@Demes: Still Amazon. Amazon have 3 kinds of stream. AVC CBR 10000kbps, AVC VBR 7000kbps, HEVC with whatever bitrate they will be
