https://slow.pics/c/xAe6q1o7 I put together a quick comparison of three different time stamps between this release and Patjantess. Patjantess' release is slightly cropped to get rid of the jitter(judder?), but some of the details in the background look slightly degraded on some screens compared to TFW's encode. TFW's release has better sub fonts and placement and is not slightly cropped, but it looks like the line work on the characters themselves and some objects in the foreground are less detailed compared to Patjantess. thx for the screenshot. i can say mine is slightly better than patjantess. 1) the crop. the show is already low res, cropping even more is just unthinkable. there is no camera shake filter on patjan, probably because in some scene there are a tiny black border up top. i just left it in. not worth to crop good frames. 2) shadow details is worse on patjan, https://slow.pics/c/W2l72TXq 3) as for this scene https://slow.pics/c/tnbz9JbU why it's blurrier, the line work is dehaloed with blindehalo, antialiased with maa2 and awarp4 with low depth (it doesn't warp, just thinned the lines). don't worry i only awarp4 on crappy blurry source like this. if you have a problem with awarp4 get patjan. but hey don't get moozzi. those are warped with star trek warp engine lol.

I see what you mean with the comparisons. I already planned on keeping your encodes. I'm just going to keep both though anyways, at least until I mux the english dub audio files in with your video. Also, I know about Moozzi's filters altering line detail and even wiping minor detail out completely in the background. He loves to over saturate the colors for some encodes as well. lol Anyways, thanks for all of the good encodes I've grabbed from you, especially the Sakura Taisen uploads. I think those Sakura Taisen encodes are the only good ones that exist on the net, unless there are better ones on a private tracker I don't have access to.
