Man it ain't even anime of the season. Kaguya-sama, Yesterday wo Utatte and Fruits Basket are all better than it. And Winter had Haikyu, and we're going to get the final fucking season of Attack on Titan this year. Then there is Re: Zero and Log Horizon S3 (at least if covid stops being a little cunt)... Bruh, it won't get into the top 10. Manga readers are saying that 13 episodes isn't enough to get to the point TOG really starts getting good and I can't say I have been addicted to it thus far.

@Rowan you just don't know how to have fun anymore, and you seem to be a really negative person, and hate many things around you, and maybe you even hate yourself and your life. Don't know for sure, but if you can't just chill and accept that people have different tastes and enjoy different things regardless of their age and intelligence, you only show your own immaturity, or your life must really suck so you want to take it out on people online to feel better. Finally got to see my two best girls in action this week, although neither was properly introduced yet. As far as pacing, I think they can probably fit in enough to get to the appropriate plot twist.

It's true that everybody has their own taste and their own choice of best anime. It's normal that everybody argue about what is best all the time. Heck I don't even think this is near to being the best anime with all its adaptation problems, but Rowanie's level of hatred (and racism as side effect?) is on a whole other level. @Rowaneenee screaming 'trash' on various nyaa releases probablyyyyy won't fix your life. Maybe spend your precious time & energy on your life fixing things with people, try loving, try escaping, or whatnot. Subaru from your fav Re:zero is at least trying to fix his life everyday, though he does have a cheat ability helping him :P

TOG needs a bit of time to speed up, as the Webtoon is really good. The story line is long and it is definitely one of the best we gonna see in 2020. But for that to be possible it has to release more episodes or the audience will be left wanting and essentially step away from it. As the plot is based on a larger scale as most good anime are.

I check these comments in the hope that anime has not moved on to a place where I can no longer expect anything watchable in the future. The naysayers give me that hope. Season is super weak. Tower is trash despite the no 2 seed spot. Thank you for the hope that there is still some sense in the world.

@Rowan I love this series and recognize it is trash simultaneously. I've read all of the Tower of God Webtoon thus far, and lemme tell ya; This story is bloated. The thing that keeps me interested is the world building and the art style. There are characters who are important to the world who just frick off to distant areas for extended periods when they could totally show up and help move the plot along instead. Even the Deuteragonist has fucked off for almost 100 chapters or so; whereabouts of even mortal status unknown. I'll still watch and enjoy this anime though; because it's a nice clean revisitation of the story I've already read that I can now share with others. I never expected Tower of God to become a Crunchyroll production; but I do appreciate that they preserved the art style of the Manwaka; even if you don't like it. I am also one of the mystical mungus "Bigots" but I'm measured in my bigotry. Example: China Lied and People Died.
