What is this v0 BS? How about just releasing it when it's ready?

WTF is this v0 bullshit ? are just trying to be the first to get it out. First does not mean shit if the release is crap. Plus you are clogging up the feed making it more difficult to find what you are looking for. Versions are for fixing reported flaws not this bullshit.

v0 is fast for those that want a very quick release. It's equivalent to what HS would be. v1/no "v" in the title has fixed typesetting/manual revisions.

I'm with everyone wondering about V0 they use to not do this with every release look at Hanyou no Yashahime: Sengoku Otogizoushi, no V0 why? I guess because fuck it that's why. There seems to be no reason to add in a V0 for some series and not others. If they did this with every release we wouldn't be mad or confused but come to expect it. I read what Nokou said but if V is their improved subs why not just release those? I mean a lot of groups just rip like Horrible does so Erai doesn't really need to rip subs as well as they are the same as other groups. I'll just get V1 and see how it is and if it's not that much better I'll grab another's group. I already have to remove a lot title name sub group 1080 (-batch if needed or -mp4 since a few groups do mp4) now have to add in -V0. And I agree with @Valet name it drafts

This will include a subtitle that has been edited by the team.” Granted there is some confusion when they say "in the past" because what they mean by that was two weeks ago when the season started. Prior to HorribleSubs kicking the bucket they were doing exactly what they are doing now minus releasing the V0 versions. The V0 releases were intended to replace HorribleSubs, but at this point they might as well let SubsPlease take over that particular field and go back to only what they were doing before. There was another layer of confusion where you have some Funi shows not having V0 versions. That's because those files were deleted because there was something wrong with Erai's Funi ripper that was breaking the script during the first week of the season. But Funi subbed shows like Love Live, Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear, and Strike Witches did indeed have V0 versions.
