seriously tf is wrong with novelists naming their works like this ?
@Fares, Abilities Average is on the shorter side of title lengths, believe it or not. To answer your question, the vast majority of these light novels (including this one) started off as *web novels*, on a site like Kakuyomu or Shousetsuka ni Narou (literally "[Let's] Become a Novelist"). Usually the latter. As a side note: Accel World, Rising of the Shield Hero, Log Horizon and plenty of others with much shorter names also started on these sites. On these sites they don't have things like cover images to catch the eye, and reading the teaser takes a few more clicks and more effort than it does to just check out the title while scrolling along. So, to draw readers in, they turn the title into a teaser. I'd argue it's also a crutch for authors who can't write a proper teaser, because... a lot of them just can't. Or maybe they can't think of a compelling title. It's way easier to sum it up in one or two sentences, no matter how long those two sentences might end up being.
@Ribeyrolles Well Said. I was curious about to why is it like that too. Although, just from reading the title, I do get enticed to want to read it but I never thought it was on purpose. Hahaha thanks for that. and to this upload too, Thank you
