no, i havent dropped mahouka lol, rest assured, unless by some miracle Fyurie or begna decided to pick this series up, i'm probably seeing it through to the end
that said, this episode mentioned a lot of Japanese cultural items, which I thought might be interesting to go through and talk about as TL notes, since i didn't feel right typesetting everything there
TL Notes:

Asakusa (浅草) is a very touristy spot in Tokyo that harbours a lot of old temples and shrines.
![tlnote2](https://vigne.fgghjjkll.net/~fgghjjkll/mahouka11/mahouka11.final_001_14557.png)
Furinkazen (風林火山) is a popularized version of the battle standard used by the Sengoku period daimyō Takeda Shingen. The banner quoted four phrases from Sun Tzu's The Art of War: "as swift as wind, as gentle as forest, as fierce as fire, as unshakable as mountain." src: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/F%C5%ABrinkazan

The blue sticker here says 輿, literally palanquin, which is a wheel-less transport carried by two or more carriers, typically during a festival procession. Also see here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Litter_(vehicle)
At 0:10:10.693, you'll see a few stickers typesetted, a few without.
御祭札 means festival tag. They're typically sold at shrines. See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/O-mikuji
富士山 is Mt. Fuji, probably one of the most iconic volcanos in Japan.
航空安全 is Flight Safety.

There's a whole bunch of cultural icons here. The one behind the cat is possibly the Yasaka Pagoda in Kyoto. Pretty random guess tho, but it's an integral part of the Kyoto skyline. The cat itself is called "Maneki Neko". It's holding 千万両 (Ten Million Yen). It serves as a good luck charm. The white castle behind the sumo wrestler is either Himeji Castle, maybe Nagoya Castle?, they're very iconic castles in Japan due to its striking white appearance and very well preserved. The sumo wrestler, of course, represents Japan's national sport. Above the sumo wrestler is the Thunder Gate (雷門) which is in Asakusa that leads to Senso-ji. The Thunder Gate has a green plate that says 金龍山, referencing Senso-ji Above the gate are branches from a sakura tree.
Loads of great Lina reaccs today too
