Notes:
1. I'm reissuing every episode that was in my last batch, because I have improved sources (even if only for just 10 seconds of each of some episodes).
2. I don't have access to Animax or RBC rips of 727-729, so I had to fudge these together. See later in this description.
3. Unless I can find better sources than what I have already obtained - which I have been trying to keep safe with the help of multiple offsite backups - my 6-year project to prepare the best possible HD raws of Detective Conan, excluding those which Crunchyroll has released, **is effectively finished.** I may at some point try to gather everything together for a final release but don't hold your breath.
Regarding 727-729, I used the original broadcasts, which necessitated the usual fixing of the sponsor cards, *plus* ...
1. 727's Porygon warning and Interactive TV/Closed Captions bugs were patched using an upscaled DVD selectively over the bugs, where selective freezeframing was not possible. I stepped through the entire sequence; I think the patch is transparent. YMMV.
2. 728's Porygon warning and Interactive TV/Closed Captions bugs were patched using footage from 727 selectively over the bugs, where selective freezeframing was not possible.
3. 729 was about a bitch to deal with, because the entire broadcast was covered by a frame including what appears to be some comment about a snowstorm and a ticker with closings. Not only was the actual program confined to a box, but it was zoomed in slightly. I had only one other HD source - a slightly underencoded WEBDL of a dubbed version, presented in 25 fps (sped up). This presented a bit of a challenge, as I had to make sure the two sources matched frame-for-frame. This was not always possible and in fact some shots remain zoomed. Also, a couple shots still had to be taken from DVD and upscaled due to defacement. This was actually the third release candidate - please let me know if there are issues I didn't catch in multiple watchings.
Because I wasn't able to get complete HD sources for these episodes, necessitating these hacks, I decided I'd make it up by adding a few "bonus encodes" ... modified reaired versions of 6 of these episodes from Nittele (and 739 partially from ytv). 746-747 were patched with VODs (I actually had these encodes done some time ago - possibly before I moved to my current apartment back in July 2019), and 738-741 were patched with Animax broadcasts. I was having some difficulty with the audio tracks that necessitated some ad-hackery, especially on 740 and 741. I considered adding the reairings of 751-752 but am currently unable to procure source.
