Plot Synopsis:

Ninja Scroll: The MOVIE (1993) - “A vagabond swordsman is aided by a beautiful ninja girl and a crafty spy in confronting a demonic clan of killers - with a ghost from his past as their leader - who are bent on overthrowing the Tokugawa Shogunate.”.

Ninja Scroll: The SERIES (2003) - “Fourteen years after defeating the immortal warrior Himuro Genma and thwarting the Shogun of the Dark’s evil plans, Kibagami Jubei continues to roam all over Japan as a masterless swordsman. During his journey, he meets Shigure, a priestess who has never seen the world outside her village. But when a group of demons destroys the village and kills everyone, Jubei becomes a prime target after acquiring the Dragon Jewel - a stone with an unknown origin. @Gradius Narp. The Ninja Scroll series only got a one season run. Ends after the final fight, even though there coulda been more to it. It’s rather good I’d say. Not like the Movie gud, but still good.

The movie’s commentary subtitles don’t seem to be of the commentary. Upon extracting the .ass file I see it’s lyrics to a song from the OST.
