YT has a lot of appeal. I have seen quite a few good AMVs, I know how good AMVs look, vanish from YT with no alternative download or viewing opportunity on any other streaming service. The copyright holders don't do anything then suddenly when the video has garnered lots of views they decide time to exercise their IP rights. Fuck their market research policy. Also fuck bilibili for watermarking their videos. It would be nice if MAD creaters over there provided a download option.
@sameer
With YT, everything has been known for a long time. They simply block some videos in some countries, turn off the sound in others due to copyright, and delete others with a time delay. However, the authors of such videos themselves do not give a link to their original files (despite the fact that they can easily do this), and their video disappears with the ends. Also, 'download videos from YouTube' - there is another problem: after all, they are transcoded for stream content (maximum compression) and they always have a worse quality. Therefore, I usually don't download AMV from YT.
About bilibili - yes, they put water logos on the video. But there are no such strict restrictions as on YT. From my point of view, the problem there is in another - upload of video files on bilibili without providing links to the files themselves is the way of thinking of people: the fact is that almost all users of the Chinese segment of the Internet now use ONLY smartphones and mobile Internet (in addition, now 5G) and it just doesn't occur to them that someone needs the source files.

Is it possible to include old releases in a new one with hardlinks e.g.
mklink /d "D:\TORR\AMV Collection v 6.0 (2002-2020)\2002-2018" "D:\TORR\AMV Collection v 5.0 (2002-2018)"
mklink /d "D:\TORR\AMV Collection v 6.0 (2002-2020)\Update to 2019" "D:\TORR\AMV Collection v 5.0 Update to 2019"
As I know any new file in existing structure is not a problem but ANY change in existing file (keeping it's name) ruines compatibility.
@AlexPUA
Is it possible to include old releases in a new one with hardlinks e.g.
- NO.
I've already calculated this way and that.
From a technical point of view, you can do this:
-> manually create a new folder 'AMV Collection v 6.0 (2002-2020)', take the old release, for example, 'AMV Collection v 5.0 (2002-2018)', erase all files (.xls, .rar, .txt) **in the root**, rename it to '(2002-2018)', and put it inside the main folder.
-> And do exactly the same for the release of 'AMV Collection v 5.0 Update to 2019'.
-> RUN THIS NEW TORRENT
-> After that, the files in the folders of the same name will be calculated by the torrent client, 99.9% of them will automatically show "full downloaded", and the remaining few files will be downloaded.
As I know any new file in existing structure is not a problem but ANY change in existing file (keeping it’s name) ruines compatibility.
- YES.
That's why I specified the list of modified files in the description of release.
A simple and reliable solution-see above.

hardlinking directories is possible (at least in Windows - I did it lot of times) exactly as described: **mklink /d new_directory old_directory**
but in then release (as uploader said) new release (mostly, but) not exactly compatible with old two, so this trick destroy (invalidate) old releases after re-hash
**qxakanight**
that’s symlinking. hard linking is different and impossible for doing on directories in windows. this release won’t destroy old files after rehash if you follow his instructions for creating new folder and then moving old items in there as instructed. after this 99.9% of current torrent wont need to be redownloaded according to uploader.
**sameer** OK, symlinking, not hard linking (I use uncorrect word). It works.
The idea is to seed old and new releases the same time without copying (if it's possible).
He said all video files are same so you can selectively download all the non-video files. Then hard link old files individually into 6.0 folder. Then you can do a force recheck and seed both releases. Of course confirm all new files either with uploader or looking at the torrent content otherwise you will lose some files in old torrent.
OR A complicated path of symlink and hard link can be undertaken if you understand what these two do exactly.

Release merged:
«2002-2018» + «Update to 2019» + «Update to 2020» → «2002-2020»
Folder «Z~OTHER ~A» is divided into two parts due to too much weight/volume:
«Z~OTHER ~A (part#1)» + «Z~OTHER ~A (part#2)»
New folder «Unsorted and not recorded in the catalogue (2021-2022)»
→ As its name implies. There are no .xls lists for her.
I re-sorted and made a list for the 2021 build:
[Renamed folder «AMV Collection v 7.0 (Update #01 to 2021+)»](https://disk.yandex.ru/d/1WE0gc8P7jSg5Q)
→ 85 AMV (10.8 GiB)
→ AMV Collection v 7.0 (Update #01 to 2021+) AUTHORS.xlsx
AMV's for 2022 and 2023 at the moment I can't assemble and make a release properly.
And, in any case, will be quite a lot of videos I missed.
The combined release is here:
https://nyaa.iss.one/view/1767437
The AMV Collection v 7.0 (2021-2023) build will be seeding for a long time.
The AMV Collection v 6.0 (2002-2020) it will be deleted soon.
Hm... I'm at a loss to answer why people keep downloading the old version 6.0 (2002-2020) 235.7 GiB,
when there's already a new version 7.01 (2002-2023) 266.3 GiB (and there are fewer blots in the .xls lists)... but, okay... let there be all versions.
