Here are episodes 1-4 of Denjin Zaborger, aka Electroid Zaborger, with full English subtitles. I started this project while I was on You Tube and was approached by Fedda, my translator, who asked if he could help out with anything. I gave him Zaborger, since I had some raws for it and no one had really tried to sub it before. The result of our collaboration were these four episodes, which feature Akira Yamaguchi (of Riderman fame) as Daimon Yutaka, a sort-of special agent/detective equipped with his late father's invention: the crime-fighting, transforming robot Denjin Zaborger. Zaborger actually turns into a motorcycle when not in robot mode, and Daimon rides this bike all over Japan, taking on Dr. Akunomiya and his "secret criminal organization," Sigma. Sigma is naturally armed with a plethora of mecha-borgs to battle Zaborger with, but with Daimon's voice-activated commands ("Zaborga! Chain Punch!") and Zaborger's superior tech, Daimon almost always came out on top. The series was produced by P Productions, who also did Tiger Seven, Ambassador Magma, Spectreman, Condorman, and many other rare classics. This was their last series, and while it ran for an entire 52 episodes, the company closed its doors shortly after its completion, due to a slumping market for tokusatsu shows and several shows that had bombed before Zaborger's broadcast run. Because these were originally posted to You Tube, they are hardsubbed, since soft subs aren't compatible with You Tube's code. I may re-do these as soft-sub MKVs in the future. This project is currently in limbo, and has been for a while, since Fedda went off to college and is far too busy to spend time translating anything, and no other translators have stepped forward to take his place. I believe this may have been the only time someone successfully fansubbed Zaborger (and not just one ep, but four), so this is also a little bit of fansub history.
