A blurring interpolation algorithm was used during upscaling, and there is some haloing and aliasing around the lines caused by upscaling. Also, a few scenes come with slight banding. Our solution is to descale and reconstruct the images while reserving the parts which are natively 1080p, followed by the usual de-banding, contra-sharpening and adaptive de-noising.
