I’m sorry since this comment isn’t about this torrent, but I have no idea where to post this. I’m looking for the most recent Stone Ocean episodes that I can play on my old toaster Windows 7 laptop. None of this new high quality stuff will play without the image looking glitchy. And the tech stuff is far too confusing for me to understand. I am looking for new episodes that can be played on older stuff.
@EndlessMaria The release here that requires the least modern hardware at this time should be [this one](https://nyaa.iss.one/view/1608672).
If you can't play those, you'll probably have to reencode them yourself, because I doubt anyone here would be willing to make a devolved remake of a baseline-level release that already exists. Basically, the only way they could go down from that without outright breaking Nyaa's rules for uploads would be to downscale to 720p and/or burn in the subtitles (running subtitles takes more system resources than people tend to think). Just converting those files from MKV to MP4 should be enough to get them to play on most smart TVs (*I think*, I haven't looked at this aspect of that torrent [I'd check if it were related to your issue], but those Netflix releases usually use SRT subs: almost nothing that isn't a PC or similar device can natively run the ASS format that nearly everything else uses, but SRT is pretty universal), but for a really old Windows laptop, you need to minimize resource usage.
Alternative option: Stream them.
P.S. I'm sure you've already thought about this, but make sure your codecs are up to date. Or at least as up-to-date as they can be on Windows 7.
@EndlessMaria I guess the issue is because this video is encoded with HEVC (as you can see in the title where it says HEVC). The easiest way for you would be to download videos that are in h.264 format instead (most of the time this is just videos that dont have HEVC in the title). Try this for example: https://nyaa.iss.one/view/1608865
