It's been almost ten years since this movie premiered and it's still somewhat difficult to find a decent ENG sub copy. The BD source is my own rip from the German (not JP) Blu-Ray. I stripped out the German dub and encoded down to HEVC. I'm not a pro-encoder, so I can't promise it's the most optimized job. The audio is DTS 5.1. I've been searching for decent subs for a long time to go with my copy and recently came upon RedBlade's DVDRIP release that included what I think are professional ENG subs, or at least an enthusiast willing to name herself in the credits. I took those subs, OCR'd them, fixed the frame-rate to match video, edited them, and made some stylistic changes (the OG subs still had some awkward language use at times but overall were the best quality I've yet seen). As an aside to throw my two pence on the post, I guess this movie must have irked people enough considering it's so hard to find, but I like it despite its propagandist nature. It's some high quality Japanese revisionist propaganda, with some cliches here and there to boot. Entertainment value is no different than watching Yugoslav war music videos. Enjoy.
