Commie subs + QC + honorifics track.
The encode here was interesting. Many scenes in the Blu-Ray had a dithering pattern where, for every 2x2 grid, either the bottom right or the top left pixel would be one 8-bit value darker. The pattern was consistent, so it was possible to reverse the dithering without doing some kind of destructive spatial denoise. Much like in scanned vs digital versions of comics, some viewers probably prefer the detail added by the dithering, fake though it may be. On the other hand, reversing the dithering allowed the debander to do its job better, as should be evident in the comparisons below. It seems like my script missed some scenes the dithering was in—that's fine, since I was trying to be conservative.

Before watching this, watch [Tamako Market](https://nyaa.iss.one/view/1656470).

[Okay-Subs] Tamako Love Story [45C10FA7].mkv (4.2 GiB)
I want to say that Tamako Love Story is pretty standalone as-is. Of course Tamako Market is great and I will always recommend that to people, but you can watch this film and be majorly invested without watching the show beforehand. I think I went a couple years between watching Tamako Love Story and watching Tamako Market, so well-done and self-contained is its story.
