Darkwispers, Orphan, and LonelyChaser present Watase Seizou's 1988 OVA collection *Chalk-iro no People* (*Chalk-Colored People*). Like *Boku wa Oldies na All-Color*, this is a collection of "silent" anime stories: there's no dialog, only background music. The dialog is conveyed via signs and intertitles.
*Chalk-iro no People* varies the Seizou formula in several ways. First, the stories are linked by location (in or near a chalk-colored apartment house by the shore) rather than by the theme of romance. Second, the stories vary in length, instead of being all 4-5 minutes. And third, most of them are rather bittersweet
