Based on the original translation by Nexus Studio (Kenneth H.) wowmd bought and captured the LD for the show, encoded it, then retimed the subs and quality checked Perevodildo translation checked and added the songs So, another LD wowmd captured, and I had the indiscretion of looking into, because I was absolutely sold the moment I saw the screencaps from it. The plan was to just groupwatch it and maybe fish out some typos in the process, but five minutes into I realized the situation was direr than expected, and so I had to sit down and work on it properly for a whole day. I TLCed, added very basic typesetting, and subbed insert songs. The translation was pretty meh, but considering the nature of this OVA, the songs are the actual stumbling block here. What if I told you that the number of lines in this sub **doubled** after I added songs (barely any lyrics for that were online)? [This one fucking song](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mFqcCYribaw) seems to have never been released outside this OVA at all; I was literally at the point of tearing my hair out when looking for lyrics: while the others by Toshiki Kadomatsu are comically Engrish, at least had clear sound and were googleable, this one is a complete phantom with absolutely unintelligible text to boot. I ended up making it up entirely, and I mean ENTIRELY—for some of the lines, I can't even tell if this is supposed to be English or Japanese. If you ever find the lyrics somehow, be my guest to give it another go. The situation with the others isn't a lot better, save for "Boys" by Sabrina. For some, I thought myself lucky if I could simply find that song externally, without dialog on top of it, and transcribe from that. Actually, looking at the amount of Engrish bubblegum pop Toshiki Kadomatsu crapped out over all these years, I kinda understand why nobody wants to bother transcribing all that bullshit. I'm not even sure if his songs had lyrics in the first place, or he'd just yell whatever random English words would come to his head during the recording. The list of songs is so imposing, actually, you'd think Victor mistook this OVA for their advert. Here it is in full glory: 1. I'll live in loving you, baby - unknown song by Kadomatsu Toshiki (角松敏生) (probably) 2. I Must Change My Life & Love For Me by Kadomatsu Toshiki 3. Boys by Sabrina 4. One And only lover by Sakamoto Hiroshi (坂本洋) 5. Don't Ever Hurt Me by Akira Okazawa (岡沢章) aka 4th track on Tomohito Aoki's (青木智仁) album "Double Face" (for whatever reason) 6. Miss You by Shoji Kumi (障子久美) 7. Premonition Of Summer by Kadomatsu Toshiki 8. うすべにの嵐 (Pink Storm) by Shoji Kumi 9. Desire by Kadomatsu Toshiki 10. Always loving you—another insert song by unknown performer that doesn't seem to exist outside this OVA (probably). Rightfully so since it's literally three lines in broken English being repeated over and over. Can you rip love position the legend of halley?
Is that the original Sabrina version of "Boys"? The artist isn't credited on the ending credits. Aya Sugimoto did a cover shortly after the original.
