Emaqi uses an AI to do their translations. It's MTL. No idea how much TL-checking or editing they do. Apparently their LLM is "proprietary" and "specialized for manga," but somehow I doubt that means much.
But given they had 6,000 volumes available when their platform launched in May of 2025, I doubt there is much human TL checking going on.
