A note from the encoder:
"I adopted the handle usotsuki when I was still in high school. Despite all efforts to switch it to something easier to pronounce, easier to spell, or less associated with the history of the nick - or the fact, which I well knew even then, that the word meant 'liar' in Japanese, nothing stuck; the handle was like a bad penny.
"I picked this new handle from the name of a toy line frequently advertised during programming I was encoding. Admittedly it was related to a friend's injoke regarding idiotic official spellings of Japanese names - think Eievui (Eevee) or Foodin (Alakazam; we spell it Houdin instead) from Pokémon. But I liked it - it had a nice ring, and that it was the name of a doll line, like Barbie, it represented something I identified with in this phase of my life.
"Where I can't change the handle I'm using I'll keep the handle. On IRC and in future encodes, I am standardizing my handle to Licca, and so I intend it to remain."
Not associated with any other user of the handle or name "Licca".
215 (212) marks the beginning of what the dubs call "Master Quest".
